Most KNOCDIC® 3D printed accessories are made from PLA, a plant-based bioplastic derived from renewable resources. We pair selected designs with natural wood, stainless steel or glass where it improves function, feel or durability.
Please keep 3D printed parts away from dishwashers, boiling water and direct heat.

Why does KNOCDIC® use 3D printing?
We use 3D printing because it allows us to create thoughtful, functional coffee accessories in small batches, without needing large factory production runs. It gives us more freedom to design, test, refine and improve each product over time.
Is 3D printing better than mass production?
For the way we design, yes. 3D printing allows us to make products in smaller quantities, offer more colour options, and avoid holding unnecessary overstock. It is a more flexible and considered way of making coffee tools.
Are KNOCDIC® products made to order?
Many of our 3D printed pieces are made to order or printed in small batches. This helps us reduce waste, avoid excess stock and make each product with more care.
Are 3D printed products durable?
Yes, our products are designed for everyday coffee use. Each piece is printed with practical strength in mind and checked before dispatch. However, like all 3D printed items, they should be kept away from dishwashers, boiling water and direct heat.
Will there be visible print lines?
Yes, subtle layer lines are a natural part of the 3D printing process. They are not defects, but part of how each piece is made. We see them as a small reminder that your item was made layer by layer, not mass-moulded in a factory.
Why do you offer so many colours?
One of the biggest advantages of 3D printing is flexibility. We can offer a wider colour range without needing large minimum production runs. This allows you to choose a colour that better matches your machine, grinder and coffee corner.
Is 3D printing more sustainable?
3D printing can be a more considered way to produce small products because we only make what is needed, reducing unnecessary stock and wasted production. We also use PLA for most printed parts, which is derived from renewable plant-based resources.
Are your products handmade?
Our products are digitally designed and 3D printed, then finished by hand where needed. This may include removing supports, sanding, fitting magnets, adding wooden parts, assembling components or checking the final piece before dispatch.
Can 3D printed coffee tools go in the dishwasher?
No. Please do not place 3D printed parts in the dishwasher. To clean them, gently wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap if needed, then dry thoroughly. Avoid boiling water, high heat and prolonged soaking.
