What size knock box should I choose?
Small knock boxes are best for solo coffee routines or compact counters. Medium sizes suit most home espresso setups, while larger knock boxes are better if you make several coffees a day or prefer emptying it less often.
How many coffee pucks can each knock box hold?
Capacity depends on the design, but as a general guide: small knock boxes hold around 2–4 pucks, medium knock boxes hold around 5–7 pucks, and larger designs can hold 8 or more pucks.
Are KNOCDIC knock boxes dishwasher safe?
No, we recommend hand washing only. Rinse with mild soap and room-temperature water, then dry thoroughly. Please avoid dishwashers, high heat and prolonged soaking to help preserve the finish.
What are the knock boxes made from?
Our knock boxes are 3D printed in small batches using durable PLA-based material, with selected designs featuring an oak-style wooden knock bar. They are designed to be lightweight, practical and display-worthy for everyday home espresso use.
Are 3D printed layer lines normal?
Yes. Because each knock box is 3D printed, subtle layer lines may be visible. This is part of the making process and gives each piece its own small-batch character.
Do I need a knock box for home espresso?
A knock box is not essential, but it makes daily espresso much cleaner and easier. Instead of knocking used coffee pucks into the bin or sink, you can collect them neatly in one place and empty it later.
